“Turkic Culture Festival” has been held in Korea
“Turkic Culture Festival” organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea has been held in three cities of Korea with participation of cultural groups from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Turkmenistan on November 8-13, 2016
Opening Ceremony of the Festival with the performances of cultural groups of all all participating states was launched on October 8, 2016.
Azerbaijani Day dedicated to the 25 th anniversary of restoration of state independence of the Azerbaijan has been held in National Museum of Korea on November 9, 2016. Azerbaijani team performed in Gimhae Art and Sports Center of Gimhae city with a joint performance with Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on November 13, 2016
Opening Ceremony has been broadcasted through Korean TV channels like ARIRANG, MBC, KTV and YTN.
Parallel to the concert programs photo exhibition on the history, culture, cuisine, nature, modern architecture of Azerbaijan, exhibition of national costumes and national musical instruments of Azerbaijan have been displayed in the lobby of the National Museum of Korea throughout the Festival.
On November 11th Azerbaijani movie produced by Rovshan Isakh has been screened in the Film Festival held in the framework of Turkic Culture festival.
